Upgrading Brain, Body - and Human Nature

As biohacker I experiment — outside of traditional lab spaces and institutions — on my own body with the hope of developing treatments to boost physical and cognitive performance. My mentors are professors from Harvard Medical School, MIT and a Nobel Prize Winner.

My present work is learning more about how the microbiome influences obesity and athletic performance using the Gut Bacteria of Elite Athletes. My work was inspired by former colleagues at Harvard Medical School and MIT who are researching the human microbiome.

I've also worked on editing the DNA of living organisms to create man-made lifeforms that ultimately will solve climate change and lobbying international governments to make the world safe from bioterrorism.
